Northern Traverse
This event is causing a bit of a stir in the ultra running community, a 190 mile run across the country following Wainwrights Coast to Coast route. Takes place next year 30 May - 4 June 2016. Entries are now open. northerntraverse.com

C2C Adventure Race
This classic journey is not far away 28-31 August 2015. Expect some tight competition and live tracking. There are still places on this event, entries close on 1st July openadventure.com/c2c/

ITERA
A few questions flying our way on next years ITERA an expedition race for teams of 4 in Ireland, an AR world series event. In summary we are working hard on the route and the event village.. more details soon – but suffice to say the event is happening 13-20 August 2016 itera.ie

Lakes in a Day
50 miles through the lake district, a natural line from top to bottom. 10th October.. lakesinaday.co.uk we are ¾'s full so don't dally on this one - pop your entry in. For this year we are also offering £500 cash to the 1st lady and 1st man to set a new course record. lakesinaday.co.uk

Sportives
Just 10 days to go to the C2C in a Day with 1000 riders and having sold out many months ago its one to get on. Entries for 2016 will open on Monday 6th July more details here assuming your have the legs (and butt) for such distances check out the Wales in a Day event on 26th September, a mere 190 miles from Caenarfon Castle to Chepstow Castle. Details here..

Open5's
Yep they are coming.. will send an update out soon on locations and dates. Suffice to say they will be on the 2nd Sunday (not the 1st) of Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar and April. Nicki is currently juggling locations with dates.. Provisional locations – Blanchland (North Pennines), Lowther (north Lakes), Hebden Bridge (South Pennines), Reeth (Yorkshire Dales), TBC (North Wales) and Slaidburn (Forest of Bowland).

Tri-Adventure
For those who don't know our friends, Tri-adventure is in new hands with Adam Marcinowicz next event is back in the South in Princes Risborough, The Chilterns on Sunday 28th June. More details at triadventure.co.uk/princes-risborough/

The Knight's Table Café
