Welcome to the April edition of our newsletter.  News on the final Haglofs Open5, the Two Day event and events later this year - read on.

Haglöfs Open5 Adventure Race Series

Well the final event of the series took place in the splendid Dovedale area of the Peak District, the sun came out for the prize giving.  Competitors were even spotted with ice creams.. It was a tight finish for many classes with the final positions not known til 4pm. Results here photos here

The series will be back this November, entries / locations are now online for this top series of racing.

Open 2 Day... 28/29^th April

Open Adventure with the help of Tom Gibbs and Paul Noble, are bringing back this classic format of stage racing to the Lake District at the end of the month.  Entries close on 13th April, with a limited number of boats we may have to close entries early. More info here

Its a great way for Haglofs' Open5ers to sharpen their skills on a slightly longer event.  For many, 7 or 8 years ago, this format was the first Adventure Race they would have done. With most of the stages in a score format if you get tired just head back early and take adventage of the catering provided by WILF's

UK Adventure Racing

The Haglofs Open5 in the Peak district saw the start of the UK Adventure Racing Championships.  See how the results have rolled out in the table here. More oppourtunities to grab points at the 2 day event and the adidas events this summer. Details here
