Mountain Hardwear Open5 Series

Clear, crisp, cold, icy - sound familiar? Well done to all those who braved the brisk conditions at the North Yorkshire Moors event on 9th Jan. You can see the results and images on the website.

Andy Brook Dobson went away a happy man with a NEW Suunto Core watch, worth hanging around for and Isaac Griffiths won the Anquet voucher. We also thought that one of our first time competitors all the way from the states Dawn Westrum deserved a mention after a spectacular fourth place in the ladies solos!

We are back on 6th February in the Dales at Kirby Stephen - come along and find out what the fuss is about .

An Epic...

Well known Adventure Racers Anthony Emmet and Bruce Duncun have come up with a challenge that will push them to the max. The racing duo intend to run the Bob Graham, (72mile run in the Lake District over 42 peaks within 24hours), followed by a nonstop John O Groats to Lands End ride on a tandem, before jumping into a kayak and paddling from Devizes to Westminster in the DW kayak race.

This is a huge undertaking even for these two fine athletes, They are taking on this challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK. For more details of their challenge take a look at theepictri.com
