planetFear Endurance Series
Wow - well where do we start? What a great series of events, for which the recent planetFear Open24 provided the icing on the cake. This may have been a shorter than usual event but it was possibly the most demanding Open24 ever, which made a great finale for the planetFear Endurance Series.
Yours truly has written a full report on the planetFear Endurance Series which you can read here. This series would not have been possible without the sponsorship and support from planetFear - so a huge thank you from the team at Open Adventure but also from the racers for making it happen.

You are Out Running in some Remote Hills and Your Partner Collapses...
What would you do?
Last week I completed an Outdoor First Aid course with Steve Johnson (the Open Adventure Medic). It's a great course and anyone involved in the outdoors should do one - it's just 2 days. So if you don't know the answer to the question get yourself and your team mate on an Outdoor orientated First Aid course
Tao Mountain Steve Johnson, ITC courses, REC courses, BASP courses

Haglöfs Open5 Adventure Race Series
It is only a matter of weeks now until the start of an exciting new Open5 series. With new sponsors, Haglöfs, and several new areas to visit we'll take racers through the Autumn, Winter and Spring months well into 2012. For those who have been with us for a few years you will recall that the last time we visited Staveley in 2008, the event was affected by several inches of snow and a fair covering of ice. Starting in October we are confident that snow will not be a factor on this event, so racers should get to travel that little bit further and see more of the beautiful Lakes scenery.
This series of adventure races provides an adventurous challenge for both novice and elite competitors alike in some of the most beautiful locations in the UK. Enter Here
