A few more details for the adrenaline junkies. This should put some sugar in your mouth for what is in store..

Minimum distances

  • Kayaking 24km
  • Cycling 52km
  • Foot 17km

Maximum distances are whatever you can archive in the 24 hours (don't worry there will be plenty to do), remember its not who travels the furthest but who scores the most points.

Timetable

21st July (Wednesday night) Any final details in regards to this event will be posted in the updates section here.

OK worth getting your head around this you need to register on Friday night.. There is no briefing on Saturday! Race details will be in the race notes which you receive on Friday night along with the event maps. You will know where and when you require your wet suits at registration.

Registration will be in a small marquee on the main green in Betws Y Coed near the visitors centre.

18.00 Registration opens
23.00 Registration closes

18.00 to 23.00 hand in bikes and transition bags to marshalls in station carpark.

Parking during the event - we have arranged a discounted rate of £4 per car (1 car per pair) for the weekend using the main station carpark. Any additional cars will have to pay the standard rate of £8 for the weekend. You can pay and collect these parking vouchers at registration.

If you have your own boat or a necky do remember you need to bring along your BCU certificate, unless we have seen it prior to this event. There is no exception, please do not put us or yourselves in an awkward position on the day.

24th July (Saturday)

06.30 Three coaches will leave in 20 min intervals. We will let you know who is on which coach in the week prior to the event.

NB don't email us asking to swap coaches. We have thought about this carefully, holding up a coach load of competitors and ultimately the rest of the event is not funny, be it accidental or not please arrive 10 mins before your coach is due to depart. If you miss your coach you will miss out on part of the event and the coaches will leave on time.

25th July (Sunday)

11.00 - 13.00 competitors finish
13.30 prize giving
