World Adventure Racing Champs
We couldn't send out November newsletter out without mentioning the World Adventure Racing Champs, currently taking place in Ecuador. There are several fabulous British teams now racing for glory; having enjoyed an enjoyable 'acclimatisation' holiday before the adventure kicked off. If you aren't already furiously dot watching, you can follow the progress of Irish AR (which includes Avril, the brains behind the next ITERA) and of course adidas Terrex, who were 3rd last time and looking to equal or beat that this time round. There is also another team sporting the British flag who is unfamiliar to us. Follow their progress here.

Kendal Mountain Festival
But the adventures also continue closer to home. The Kendal Mountain Festival looms large on our calendar this month, providing a great weekend for anyone interested in the Outdoors. Sir Chris Bonington is speaking! It'll be a good 'un for sure. And as part of the festival we will be hosting the planetFear 10km Trail Run. It's the highlight of the weekend - a gorgeous trail run from the centre of Kendal taking in Scout Scar and Beast Banks followed by the 'endurance night' series of speakers who always have some great stories. Come and join us!
