YOU CANNOCK BE SERIOUS!

We are kissing goodbye to a dreary February and welcoming in the Spring with two exciting events this weekend at Cannock Chase. Next in the series of the SILVA10 night trail run takes place this Saturday night.

"There is something incredibly exciting about running with a head torch and relying on the reflective signs that it picks up. Your senses become increasingly heightened as you attempt to dance across puddles, avoid tripping over tree roots" Tobias Mews blogging for the Telegraph on the SILVA10

The following morning, we convene for a fast and furious Haglöfs Open5 adventure race, thanks to Cannock's free draining sand and gravel trails. They might not quite be dusty but we're hoping for some fast rolling terrain!

So give Cannock Chase a go this weekend at the SILVA10 or (and?) The Haglöfs Open5. You'll love the miles of trails meandering through the ancient woodland. You'll love the lakes and river valleys, open heathland and rolling hills. You'll love the zippy manmade singletrack and the steep gravel climbs amongst the trees. And you'll love the excellent cakes at the cafe!
