Haglöfs Open5 Series Finale
The finale was held in Coniston, where a fierce competition was played out between a lot of seasoned adventure racers. Our planner, Ant Cooper, tempted racers to the top of the Old Man which was the undoing of some and left the male solo series title undecided well past the 11th hour! Congratulations to the series winners and to all for taking part in another fantastic set of events.

Lakes in a Day: Prices go up on 9th May
We are so excited about the 'Lakes in a Day' 48 mile ultra that we couldn't wait until 11th October and sent 4 Open Adventure regulars to check it out. It was a long day out but they returned home with big smiles (and tired legs). "What a fantastic route", Sabrina Verjee told us, "I can't wait to do it again. But first... cake!" Check out the route online and don't forget that price goes up on the 9th May so get your entry in quick smart.

In association with Graham Patten of Lakeland Trails we are supporting Dan Duxbury in his attempt to bag all the munros in record time. He has one of our state of the art trackers so we can all follow his record attempt. Check out his blog and follow the online tracking. Good luck Dan!
Fancy a trip across the pond check out this Adventure Race on the Isle of Man - looks great fun and really not that difficult to get to.
How is your training going for the ITERA? Don't forget you can chat with fellow racers and exchange tips on the Open Adventure Facebook page.
