Don't close your eyes the summer is passing. We have had a season of Adventure with the adidas TERREX events, the inaugural "Two Day Event" and C2C in a Day Sportive. It's not slowing down any... read on.

Haglöfs Open5 Series

Kicks off at the beginning of November just outside of Edinburgh. We have some great prizes in store (including a Haglöfs Endo Jacket raffle at the prize giving) and some amazing venues. The locations for the first two events are now online and you can find out more here.

Red Bull Steeplechase

This event is a trail run we are putting on with Red Bull on Sunday 7th October. It has some real twists to the story... if you didn't see the video we featured in the newsletter last month you can find it here. Unfortunately it's full - BUT we are in need of a few marshals to help out. If you are in striking distance of Castleton in the Peak District and can help out we would like to hear from you (this one is paid). Click on this link for more info and fill in the form.

Adventure Racing World Championships

Whilst you are reading this, 65 teams are running / cycling and paddling across France in the AR World Championships. Two UK teams are in the mix including Team adidas TERREX who won in Stirling and Team Mountain Hardwear who won the Two Day event last April. Live tracking and leader board are online here.

Calendar

A few dates for your 2013 diaries with the websites being updated in the coming weeks.

2x Two Day stage events (1st weekends in June and July) locations likely to be Lake District and Wales. Solos / pairs and mixed teams of 4.

Coast to Coast Adventure Race (Bank Holiday in August - 22nd-26th August 2013) for mixed teams of 3 and solos.

C2C in a Day Sportive (Seascale to Whitby) - 29th June 2013

We will be back in 2014 with another epic expedition race for mixed teams of 4.

PS The date for screening of the adidas TERREX event has been confirmed: Channel 4 in the UK on Sunday 21st October at 7am.
