Coast to Coast Adventure Race
Entries for this great event to be held over August Bank Holiday 2013, have opened today, 15th October. It's a classic journey whether you're at the sharp end with the elite or if you're a team looking to take on the experience. Take a look at the website an cajole some friends in the Summer escape. NB price goes up in the New Year and we will limit the number of solo entries.

Haglöfs Open5 Series
We kick off this season in the Pentlands on the southern side of Edinburgh. All credit to Rosemary Byde who has put a lot of time into this event - make the journey to see what Rosemary has to show us. Needless to say we expect a few southerners may not make this one... fear not we are heading to the South Downs on the 2nd December - for details on other events in the series see here.

Kendal Mountain Festival
Kendal is the place to be 15 to 18th November. It's the biggest Outdoor Film Festival in the World - you will see yours truly lurking at the adidas Endurance Night, with some top names on the bill board tickets are genuinely selling fast. We are also pulling together a 10km Trail Run on the Saturday in association with KMF and adidas - as soon as we know the details we will let you know.

adidas TERREX Adventure Race
The epic event of the Summer was 5 days of Adventure setting off from Stirling in August - for the armchair racer in all of us you can find it on TV next Sunday (in the UK only I'm afraid) on Channel 4 at 7am on 21st October and CH4+1 an hour later.

Two Day Events
We put on the first Two Day event this year and we are back in 2013 with two more editions, one in the north Lakes and another in Wales (probably mid to north Wales). These are a great stepping stone and with the score format you can take on as much as you like. Entries for these events open on 1st November.

C2C in Day
A small diversion from our off road inclination - this is a 150 mile strictly road cycle sportive that is scheduled for end of June 2013. With a great article by Tobias Mews in Cycling Plus - entries are coming in at an alarming rate. Who knows if we will get there or not but limit is 500 riders. If you want to be one of them take a look.

Anquet
You know when you have something that you almost forget its there - it becomes integral to what you do, you almost take it for granted. That's us and Anquet Maps - from mapping Sportives to checking the speeds on the TERREX to planning the Haglöfs Open5's we will be opening up Anquet Mapping. The new 2012 software is slicker than the old stuff and they have come up with some quirky additions like A3 printing and HD maps. All make us happy. Give them a look a big thumbs up from us.
