Record Numbers at the Open24
It's the grand finale of the planetFear Endurance Series in North Wales this week. Current leaders will be kept on their toes as there is more competition than ever with the highest turn out yet for the Open24. Wandering what you may encounter during this 24 hours of pure adrenalin and endurance? Well the clue is in the photo if you can work out where it is. This is race planner Andy and James on a recent reece. The prologue of the race will be a coasteering untimed section - take a look at the website for more details. Don't say we never give you a head start - get out there and enjoy it we've enjoyed planning it!

Blacks Single Track Trail Race
Sunday 17th October 2010
Fancy an adventure down south? Check out the details of this new Trail race in the stunning setting of the Dunstable Downs. This promises to be an amazing run with the route taking in views of the Vale of Aylesbury and the Chiltern Hills.

Anquet Competition
Luke Harding was the lucky winner of the £200 of mapping from Anquet. We'd like to pass on our thanks to Anquet for such a fabulous prize and Luke can rest assured with all those new maps he won't be getting lost at the next event. Well done Luke!

A New Planet?
planetFear is to launch a new store in UK's Adventure Capital on 26th August 2010. Leading adventure sports website planetFear has unveiled plans for the opening of a retail store in Keswick in the Lake District. The store will build on the success of the popular website, which combines online shop with magazine style news, articles, videos and images, for those who like their adventure sports with a bit of spice. Aimed at adventure racers, mountain bikers, climbers and mountaineers, the store will focus on specialised technical clothing and equipment from high-end brands.
The store opens on 26th August 2010 with a major launch party, featuring live music, food, drink, and special offers. This coincides with registration for the adidas TERREX adventure race which takes place in the store.
