Indulged over Christmas? Well, don't fear the next Open 5 event is nearly upon us.

Mountain Hardwear Open5 Series - North York Moors - January 9th 2011

Feeling guilty after a candy covered Christmas? The Open5 event in the North York Moors is the perfect opportunity to burn off those extra calories, not to mention the fun you will have! Due to the recent crazy winter weather don't forget we have rescheduled to the NEW date of Sunday 9th January 2011. Planet Fear Endurance Series - Don't delay - Enter Today!

The 2011 endurance series consist of the usual 5, 12 and 24 hour races with a bit of spice mixed in. Just to remind you that entries go up in price on February 1st 2011, so if you want that 10% discount best get on line as soon as possible!

Snowy Adventures Photo Competition

Back at Open Adventure Towers we feel like we have missed out on an adventure, what with having to postpone the last Open5 event. So to cheer us up we thought we'd launch a snowy adventures photo competition.

Send in your images (max 3) of your snowy adventure to photos@openadventure.com. We are looking for photos that inspire people to get outside - they don't have to be technically correct and can be taken on a phone or an SLR. Entries close on January 14th. We will post the winning picture on the next Open Adventure Newsletter and a gallery on Facebook. As ever we will sort out a great prize from our sponsors.

Adventure Racing awards night 2011

Spread the Word

As ever we are always trying to spread the word about Open Adventures events. If you work in a shop, at a school or have the capacity to distribute or put out some of our NEW Leaflets at events, or in your work place - please get in touch with us and we will send a bundle over to you.

PS watch out for the new Ocean Kayak Race on Sunday 22nd May. Which is the day after the Open5+ which is also in North Wales - so why not make a weekend of it.
