Endurance Series
Wow what an event, we jammed as much in to five hours as we dare. Yep the Open5+ in Keswick set off with a real bang to the series. Rob Howard has put together a report on Sleepmonsters here. And you can find photos from James and Rob also on the sleepmonsters website here.

Facebook
It took sometime for us to make the step on to the social networking site facebook
- but now we have - we will post links to competitor reports on online and keep fans updated with the goings on at Open Adventure. You can find us here.

Events
Couple of events we thought we would mention. The first is on 21st June and run by our good friends at Windermere Canoe and Kayak - its a straight forward kayak race down windermere. Don't have a boat then give them a shout and they supply you one to hire. Short and long course - all for the outrageous fee of £5 each.
Details here
Secondly the old school Polaris MTB event is back on the block in its home patch of the peaks - its the weekend before the Open12 so save some beans for fun out west. You can find out more info here.

And Finally
We want to wish Steve Birkinshaw well this weekend. He is off to try and break Mark Hartell's record for the highest number of Lake District peaks bagged in 24 hours. Steve and Heather Dawe won the Endurance Series in 2007. You can find more details of his exploits here.
No worries
