The Open5 series finished in style in the shadows of the peak district hills. The weather held true and some sun kissed faces were seen to adorn the prize giving. Check out the results here

We will be back with Open5's this autumn, including a few little changes and new locations to keep you all on your toes.
Those who entered all five events where up for £500 worth of Mountain Hardwear kit. Top point scorers Molly Ralphson and Andy Conn walked away with the prize - if you entereed all five events click here [ladies / gentlemen] to see how you faired.
Coast to Coast
You tempted? With a bit of kayak practice and a new BCU 2 star certificate, the team category of three competitors, with two doing any one stage is well in the reach of most Open5 competitors. Have a look at the website and wing us an email if you have any questions.

Oh a few of you have said you plan to do it 2010.. err well we don't intend to run this event in 2010 - the idea at the mo is to run the C2C every other year. We do have some other crazy ideas for 2010 so don't worry you will still be able to get your adventure fix on the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Note the specification for kayaking section has recently changed you can find more details here

Volunteers
To make these events happen we do rely on a few hands to help us out. With much planned for the Open5+, 12 and 24, we are in need for a few more volunteers.
If you fancy a great day out in some specatacular locations then give us a shout and use the contact us form on the website here

And Finally
Take a hammer to that tread mill, grab a pair of shoes and get outside for a run or walk.. be honest with yourself - how many times have your regretted it?
No worries
