It was this time last year that Open Adventure changed from an idea in to a reality, we never imagined the success that the events have had with over 500 competitors having competed in the first three five hour events and the inaugural Open24. We also never expected to have five sponsors on board for 2006 and immense support from regular competitors.
5hrs in the Lakes
So before you go in to hibernation for the winter months how about experiencing a top day of MTBing and running in our backyard of the Central Lakes. We have some little surprises in store for those who can muster enough momentum to roll out of bed on the 4th December. As with all of the Open5 events we endeavour to challenge the top racers as well as providing a great day out for those that want an easy ride and a short walk. You can find more details on this event here.
Mountain Hardwear have also pulled out the stops to come up with some prizes for the Open5 series winners. The positions are not settled yet with competition still to be had in all classes pending performances on the day. Click here to see current series placing's.
